OCR Text	increased valuation recently figures were published showing that there had been a decrease in the summit county valuation of county assessor crittenden wants it distinctly understood that this was a stupid error on the part of some one and that instead of a depiesse deci case esse there was an increase of in the summit county valuation for the past year mr crittenden says the error was made in compiling the figures in salt lake and was never noticed by the state officials until he went to salt lake and called their attention to it the slump it was claimed was in the valuation of real estate and they made the error by overlooking mining claims to the value ot of and town lots in the county to tile the total value oi 2140 which added to the ferm farm landset lands land sot of the county brought the tots total valuation up to instead og as formerly foi fol merly stated
