Show Kiwanis Club Has Active and Busy Year Perhaps the livest organization organiza-tion in Bingham Canyon ia the Kiwanis club. Since its organization organi-zation five years ago, this club and its members have taken an active interest in every civic improvement im-provement of the community. The club is composed of business busi-ness and professional men of the town. They meet each Thursday Thurs-day at luncheon in Kiwanis Hall In this way, they become better acquainted, have an understanding understand-ing of business and civic relations, rela-tions, and are better able to cooperate co-operate for the benefit of all. The club took an active part in inducing County Commissioners to extend the paving of the Bingham Bing-ham highway, to the city limits. The club is sponsor for the Boy Scouts in Bingham Canyon. On diffreent occasions, the club invited the boys for an outing or to their luncheon, and in this way, they help to associate the younger fellows and establish a bond of friendship between them Mr. Frank A. Wardlaw, who r has been President of the club for the past year, is a live wire t and has done much to keep up , the spirit of the club and to v make the meetings interesting. Mr. Boyd J. Barnard, Secretary Secre-tary of the dub, is also a very enthusiastic booster for the club and can be depended upon to keep the boys posted on all matters mat-ters coming up before the club. The motto of the club is : "WE BUILD", and the club has been measurably successful during the past year in living up to its motto. |
