| Show I I I v IF t l k V f 1 Il 1 s I r rs s t j jr I r r rh h h d I Ii i t A CIRCUS TO APPEAR AT FIVE POINTS The Jumping Jacks are one of the acts from the S Siebrand Brothers Circus Fifty FUty years ago In North Dakota Dakota Da- Da I kota there lived four brothers John PW Hiko and Sam Siebrand Sie- Sie brand All were farmers There came to their town a horse horse- drawn merry go Th The e owner of this round go contracted to buy his feed from the brothers which wIll appear at the Five Points Shopping Center next week WHEN IT WAS W time for the round merry to leave the I owner was unable to pay his feed bill and the Siebrand brothers broth broth- ers became the Ule a horse drawn mer merry merry-go- r y go- go round This was the beginning ot the oldest continuous circus in America Siebrand Brothers now have two complete circuses and make Phoenix Ariz their home durIng during dur- dur Ing the winter er months The two units will travel approximately miles during the season playing at the Idaho state Fair Twin Falls County Fair Eastern Eastern East East- ern Idaho Stat Fair etc They also travel through Montana Wyoming two provinces in Canada Canada Can Can- ada and have appeared in Utah since 1934 the furthest West they ever traveled after forming form form- ing FROM JUNE 14 to June 19 this world famous circus and carnival will be located at the Five Points Shopping Center in I conjunction with the shopping centers center's Carnival ot of Values for Fathers Father's Day promotion The circus will present three free shows dally daily on their oversized oversized over over- sized outdoor stage Each show will be different and will feature air ground and small animal acts Free tickets for red reduced u c e d drates rates on the rides will be available avail avail- able at all participating businesses businesses busi- busi nesses in the Five ping Center The carnival will open week days pm p.m. Saturday Saturday Sat Sat- at 10 am a.m. and Sunday at noon |
