| Show S P CLOSES OFFICE force removes to california for construction st work there the southern Sout pacific engineers office in this city was closed on saturday last and those who wera in charge are packing up and shipping to san francisco where they will be used immediately on construction work this force when they originally located here consisted of thirty men but they have been taken away from time to time to bo used in construction work between ogdan and oakland at different points on the cut oft and in reconstruction camps in nevada until at the present time tho party consists of but six men obelon lon ladner kurtz brophy moore and lake who will leave for the coast in a few days J N fogarty who aas also been connected with this office will remain here and spend the next few weeks between ogden and promontory point completing tho affairs in connection with the cutoff cut off during their stay in ogden these men have made a host of friends who will be sorry to learn of their departure from the city |
