applied for a pardon he was sentenced in juab county on october 4 1884 to life imprisonment for murder attorneys W H dickson and S P armstrong presented his case to the board they represented that williams has already had a great deal of punishment for his and that bis behavior since hie conviction has been excellent H 0 holmson an eighteen year old boy convicted of burglary was par deneu taken the boy to state street near third south by the street car there she was seen with him the pair were gettine into a biaglo rig the horse was lashed to furious speed and the rig was soon out of sight to the south the haste of the woman driver caused bystanders to note these facts deputies wore sent to murray inobe hope of intercepting the woman but at a late hour last evening she had not
