| Show joint resolution proposing an amendment to section nine article of the constitution of the state of utah be it resolved by tho legislature of the 0 utah two of all tho members elected to each house thereof therein section 1 the proposition to amend the constitution ot the slate of utah is hereby submitted to the qualified electors of the state for their approval or rejection namely that section nine article eight be amended so that tb same shall read as follows section 9 the supreme and district courts shall have such appellate as may bo provided by law provided that from all ansu of the district courts there shall be a right of appeal to tho supreme court sec 2 the secretary of state Is hereby ordered to cause this proposition to be published in at least one newspaper in every county of the state where a newspaper Is published for two moats immediately preceding abe next central election seo 3 this shall be submitted to abe electors of this state at the general election for their approval or rejection votice in favor of proposition hhall avo written or printed on their ballot ballots s for tho amendment tOBe cllon alno article eight of abe constitution those avotins said proposition shall have written or on against the to section nine article the said ballots shall be received and laid vote hall ba taken counted canvassed and thereof be made in abe same manner aud in all respects as is provided by uw in casa of the election of state officers sec 4 this resolution shall take and be in force from and after its adoption |
