STATE convention POSTPONED republicans will not meet friday postponement on account of president woodruffs funeral cut rates will be secured for delegates the word baa been received that the republican stale convention which was to have convened at salt lake thursday Thu has been postponed until friday at 10 a m at which time it will by called to order in the new grand theatre at salt lake abo postponement was made necessary because the date and hour conflicted with the arrangements for the funeral services Ber vices over the remains of the late president wilford woodruff this new arrangement will prevent the ogden delegates from taking advantage of the cut rate 0 1 per round trip bu as the majority ct the delegates prefer to go by way of the short line it is understood that this will be the road selected and a reduced rate of per round trip will bs secured
