| Show the troops at cheyenne cne yenne cheyenne june 4 the ladies ot the five states representing the regiment have ordered a standard for the regiment the ie a regimental flag of bilk 52 by 56 inches in eizo the baars and the words first battalion wyoming Volunteer sWe embroidered in white bilk the flag will be presented on governors day when the governors of colorado utah nevada idaho and wyoming will be present the flag will be presented by go adams of colorado and will be accepted on behalf of the regiment by col torrey A reception will be given the governors it the cicek of the presentation ceremonies arrangements are being made to secure low rates of fare and special trains on the railroads eo that friends of the troopers can attend the ceremonies As the regiment may be ordered to the front at an early day it is probable the ceremonies will take place ou the day of their departure A meeting will be held tomorrow at which it possible the day for the proposed ceremonies will be definitely fixed drilling ie being pushed at the post the troopers drill four boers a day the lieutenants and the captains eight the are being shod and the work of drilling them will commence soon |
