Waldemar of Salt Lai; were guests of Mr. and Mrs. O. S. Jensen Monday. Mrs. Louis Buchman was hostess to the Sewing Circle of the Martha Chapter No. 7, O. E. S. Wednesday afternoon at her home on Copper Heights. Luncheon was served to 20 guests. Mrs. O. S. Jensen, Mrs. Paul Rich-ards, Mrs. Paul Ransom, Mrs. Ren Nichols, Miss Alta Acord, Miss June Rhees, Miss Verna Skanchy, Miss Zella Ward and Miss Caroline Miss Helen Candland was a Provo visitor last week end. Mrs. L. A. Keefer was the honor guest at a card party given by Mrs. Vaughn Christensen and Mrs. Earl Melius at the home of the latter on Thursday evening of last week. Five hundred was played. Mrs. Jane Jack-son won the first prize, Mrs. Robert Burke the second and Mrs. W. H. Rogers the consolation. Mrs. W. H. Harris drew the house prize and Mrs. Keefer was presented with a guest prize. A two course luncheon was served. The guests included Mrs. L. A. Keefer, Mrs. John Knudsen, Mrs. Elmer Knudsen, Mrs. Hazel Myers, Mrs. Charles Carey, Mrs. Robert Burke, Mrs. Jane Jackson, Mrs. W. H. Rogers, Mrs. Leota Porter, Mrs. Lawrence Baum, Mrs. Joe Marriott, Miss Elua Winn spent Easter in I.ehi with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Worthen, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen and baby, Mr. James Worthen, and Miss Ruth Co-vert, all of Salt Lake City, were din-ner guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Mclff at their home in Free-man. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Mclff and baby, Lloyd, spent Easter Sunday in Salt Lake City, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Worthen. There were eighteen guests who enjoyed the Eas-ter party on the lawn. Miss Kunz, Utah Copper nurse, who was rushed to the St. Mark's Hospital last Sunday and operated on for acute appendicitis, is getting along very well at present. Mrs. Alex Stewart entertained at dinner at her home Thursday of last week. Covers were laidifor Mrs. F. Holden, Mrs. .Glen Lambson, Mrs. Lanell, Mrs. F. Mead, Miss Buckle, Mrs. Marie Stewart. The afternoon was spent in playing 500 with Mrs. Marie Stewart winning first prize and Mrs. Lanell consolation. Mrs. Geo. Sliker was hostess to the Musco-Ve-Ve- at a special meet-ing called Friday evening after which 500 was played. Prizes awarded to Marie Stewart, first; Mrs. May West second; Mrs. Hattie Lotts, consola-tion. A two course luncheon was served to the members as follows: Clara Mead, Edith Warning, Silina Nerden, Mildred Donard, LaVella Mrs. Chas. Carey, Mrs. F. Myers, Mrs. E. Baum, Mrs. E. Knudsen, Mrs. J. Knudsen, Mrs. Leota Porter, Miss Alice Mitchell, Mrs. R. E. Burke, Mrs. Billie Jackson,. Mrs. Rogers, Mrs. Wilford Harris. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Marriott had as their guest Easter Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Marriott and son, Del-ber- t, Miss D'On Lyon and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Palmer and daughter, Mavis, all of Murray. Mrs. Wm. Bennett had as her f guests Saturday of last week, Mrs. Will Panter and Nellie Clays of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Harry Noble and Mrs. Thorne of Salt Lake City were dinner guests of Mrs. Wm. Bennett Sunday cve-- I ning. - Mr. and Mrs. W. Wallace and daughter, Clara, spent the week with Mr. Wallace's mother, Mrs. Frank Van Styne of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Green of left for Pocatello to spend two weeks visiting with Mrs. Green's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Burts. The Relief society met with Mrs. Gess Newett of Copperfield Tuesday afternoon's regular business meeting. Mrs. Boyd Barnard, Wm. Thomas, J. Thomas of Bingham and Ed. Thomas of Salt Lake City returned from Butte, Mont., Monday when they were called by the sudden death of their Br.otehr Russel Thomas. Miss Dora Hansen was .hostess to the Emanon club at .the home of Mrs. O. S. Jensen Wednesday evening of last week. Bridge was the feature. Miss Zella Ward won the first prize and Mrs. Lee Jones the second. A two course luncheon was served. The guests included Mrs. Lee Jones, Mrs. William Trevarthen, Mrs. Neva Abel, Stewart, May West, Hattie Lotts, Marie Stewart. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fisher and daughter. Mary, of Copperfield, spent the week end with friends in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. E. J.Jones and daugh-ter, Betty, were dinner guests of Mr. and .Mrs. Stuart Dean of Salt Lake City Saturday evening. Mrs. E. E. Longfellow and Mrs. E. Stillman were Salt Lake visitors on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Stringham are the proud parents of a baby girl born at their home Thursday morn-ing, April 14. Mrs. Stringham was formerly Miss Betty Gaithwaite. Mrs. L. Stillman was a Salt Lake visitor Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Stringham are rejoicing over the birth of a baby boy at their home Tuesday, April 19th. Mrs. Stringham was formerly Miss Mary Bodell. Mrs. Earl Rhodes spent the week end in Salt, Lake City the guest of her mother, Mrs. C. A. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Howard McColeman, motored to Salt Lake City Tuesday and were visitors at the horse races. Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Abrahamson and daughter, Mamie, and Mr. John Abrahamson of Salt Lake City were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Davis Sunday evening. Mrs. Hattie Lotts and Mrs. Joe Warning spent Wednesday and ''Thursday visiting in Salt Lake City with friends. Mrs. J. J. Doyle spent the week end in Salt Lake City visiting with her mother, Mrs. John Stanford.
