importance 0 the women of ogden taking an active part in the political of the city she thought the women ought to stand together for the protection of their homes sha slid the meeting was not called for the purpose of a ticket in the field as many gentlemen citizens were led to suppose but that it was called for the purpose of giving expression and demanding that worthy candidates be named for the various offices and that the women 0 ogden be giyen at heaxt one half the representation on the school board A committed com mittey on resolutions was appointed composed of mesdames emer hunter bagley matt browning miss mie stanford and miss barton mrs bagley made a motion before the committee retired to the effect that the school question be omitted at this time as the election for members of the school board doc enot occar until the motion was defeated mra harriet hunter chairman of the oden W IT made a brief address she dwelt to acme length upon the question of temperance she urged
