bonds in the buia 0 three thousand dollars that he would refund three dollars on each certificate when presented providing euch presentation be made within one year from date of eadd bond in and auctioneers was introduced by president the amendments are as follows LICENSING AND PROVIDING FOR tais regulation AND CONTROL OF auctioneers SECTION 1 any person or persons who ceball desire to sell or expose for eale by way of public or auction within the limits of city any property shall first abam from the city a license so to du tor such license such parson or persons shall pay to the cily recorder the sam of 25 per annum also one per cent on the first received on boods sold by him and 25 per cent on all moneys received for goods sold by him over he shall give bonds to the city with approved security in the sum of one thousand 1000 dollars conditioned for the honest and doe performance for mance of all duties herein required to be by him performed which bond shall be approved by abe city council and filed in the office of the city recorder no license shall be issued until the bond is approved SAC 2 all auctioneers eo licensed shall receive all articles which they may be required to 11 at auction and give receipts if required and at the close of any sale shall deliver true account of fuca eale and pay the amount realized for such articles sold to the person chattels sold by him to the city recorder monthly or oftener if required by the city council or the city recorder and in accounting for such eale it shall be the duty ot every auctioneer to make his returns to the auditor of tho city under oath or affirmation end exhibit to said auditor his books ot eale said auditor shall require them SEC 4 all auctioneers are hereby forbidden to sell or expose for sale any kind ol 01 property on or near the streets 0 city except in a covered building unless in the cabe of live dock carrr wagon machinery and properly of like character or so conduct their baslis as to obstruct the sidewalks with goods or crowds of people or to use immoral or indecent language in crying their abode or to make nobey acclamations or rin bells on the bide i walks or ith the streets in advertising their goods and chattels SEC 6 nothing in this ordinance shall so construed as to prohibit any deriu i constable or other kofl acial from belling any property in discharge the action of last meeting taylor wanted information stated hat the facts of the case were that these rooms were given to board at a figure whish would not pay tor healine he atine and while they accepted the privileges they ignored a request of this council and insulted ua by not even answering our communication the motion to reconsider was carried aad abe original request of tha chool board
