morning acting under the direct advice ot hon geo fred williams the silver leader of the slate his friends seized the hall and took possession pas session of it after the adjournment of the rally at result of the charge made by mr williams that the detate committee leaders intended to pack the hall in the interest of the men opposed to the chicago platform and candidates the democratic state central committee was in session at the quincy bouse making up the committees for the convention when the williams men seized the ball and when the news of the reached the committee it caused a sensation the charges made by mr williams reflected upon the integrity of the committee and were vigorously denounced and nis claim that he bad demanded ot the committee that credentials serve as
