G Nominated from rom the floor loor were Donald E. E Smith Glen Scofield Jerry B B. M. M Spencer and Rulon Haacke Each Ench candidate was given five minutes to tell something about himself In the absence of Sterling Beesley who was out of town Bob West spoke for him Mr Beesley is general manager manager- of ground operations for United Air AirLines AirLines AirLines Lines graduated from the University University Uni Uni- of Utah in elementary I I education and political science Active in church work he has served as an bishop and high councilman Dean Brand who was born in Nebraska worked in an m electrical electrical electrical cal contracting business for five years Later joining a construction construction construction tion company he arrived in Utah then married his wife a resident of or Ogden and graduated from with a degree in electrical electrical elec elec- engineering He is employed employ employ- ed at Sperry Utah Company Mr roll Hirschi said he graduated also from in accounting and political science A certified public public pub pub- lic lie accountant he has done mostly job accounting he said Presently he is treasurer of Allen E.
