headquarters of the fair and elsewhere one can see that the tire city will bo be a crowdell one during the coming months of winte ter ii it will have tens teas of thousands of people from all parts of the state and from the country A avast vast majority v oi of those people will come seeking enjoyment and re recreation creati on I 1 they will expect to find what they seek nt at the exposition and tor for the past few u weeks an officer employed by the tile exe u tive committee lias been at work to provide some different distinct amusement for everyday every day of the tile fair A department of entertainment lias has been established and for several weeks past lias has k been kept busy the tito executive couii is is determined that in ili addition to the pleasures of the great fair itself there shall bo be every day 11 special feature of entertainment in in lionor bonor of some public or private organization 7 to pro vide v de a distinct for different days appears to be a task of no small magnitude but the officer in charge of the tile matter has had at ins ills command a great deal to draw upon the governor of every state in in the union has been invited to set a day dy of special observance foghis for ins stile state st ile each county co anty has been invited to do the same colleges and arid universities fraternal societies and social organizations have been requested to fix a day lay in ili their honor lionor and arid athletes have been invited to prepare groat festivals of outdoor sport sports there will be now a grand ball with all its attendant attractions again there will be boa a festival of music or of flowers and in in one way or li lindther means for a continuous round of amuse ment and pleasure will bo be provided at the tile exposition in ili setting aside different days for the celebration of states in lite union the executive committee has met with the tile heartiest operation cooperation co from the tile officials interested in some instances the governors themselves will come to the tair fair in n others the day will be honored bv melting vi altine representatives of the states in 61 olues question tion and by those people who have wade their homo home here the counties ot of course will como come camasse cn cri masse and the tile entertainment which comes from other speaks for itself fhe the department of entertainment has completed its pro gramme ramme but it haa lias prepared a preliminary one which t will ill not be materially changed it is is to be much more complete and the tile officer in el charge large will bo be greatly assisted if th those ose alesa ing a special day danwill will respond without delay the tile desire is to bo be fair to all 11 and n no day is fixed fired until the applicants have been
