go between jack flynn and alie kansas kid the latter is a halfbreed half breed and has met flynn before when he lost the fight this time however he showed up much better and met flynn right along the scrap was quite lively but no blood was spilled though the kid had a little more occasion to leave a little in the arena than did jack no decision was rendered and the go was about honors even the second preliminary was a bout between tug wilson and billy smith of boston another ogden boy they gave an exhibition of three lively rounds in which billy showed his agility surprising quickness and punching powers these two fought twenty rounds about a year ago making a draw billy in his nand in the first round As these rounds were but for points no slugging was done then came tho event of the
