Show CHILDREN'S DAY. Children's Day services were conducted con-ducted in the Presbyteriaa Church of Ephraim list unday morning a large and attentive congregation participated. ' The Choral service " Sowing and Reaping" was conducted in a manner man-ner suited to public worship, so that the llible was shown to be its own defence and justification. Proro Xifuirer. last night's Re publican meeting'at Springville was the most enthusiastic political gath ering ever held in that city. The city hall, long before the hour announced an-nounced far the opening was crowd ed by an expectant multitude of the People's party ex-members, Republicans, Republi-cans, Democrats and Liberals. The Springville band was on hand discoursing dis-coursing its excellent irusic. The ladies, too, were out in full force and manifested a deep interest in the sound logical doctrines enunciated by the speakers. On the stand were Don C. Johnson, James K. Whitehead, White-head, N. Packard, P. H. Boyer, W. Mendenhi.ll, James Straw and a numbed ' ' of Springville's prominent citizens, and Hon. J. E. Booth and J. W. N. W'hitecotton, Ben R. Eldredge and J. C. Graham, of Proyo. |
