council bethe C of ogden city fly that or orville D banks and W william illiam M thompson are hereby granted the right and privilege of using tle street sandal and alleys within the corporate torpor nto limits ot of said city fly lor for the purpose of 0 conveying an electrical current by r neau of wires to be be used for motive power heating ea t n 19 ling and all other pur purposes 13 to which electricity may be put for or a perl period mf 0 fifteen years sec see 2 that aid fald orville D banks and wllliam william M thompson and their assigns are ben hert by instated with the light tight and pr of 0 erect ng and maintaining in the aroe streets and alleys ot of aid city the necessary poles and cross arms and attaching thereto aud extending and maintaining thereon the necessary wires for the purpose of transmitting electrical currents for annand any and all of the purposes pur specified iu to section 1 of this its ordinance provided that paid streets and alleys hall be he repaired obligations in wilting writing within ten days from the dale date hereof and they or their assigns a shall ball complete a power house and power works at or near the mouth of ogden canyon for the purpose of utilizing the water power of ogden river with a plant sufficient sulli clent to produce and transmit eighteen hund hundred red it boraie orbe power of electricity electr lcUy iciLy tor for the purposes named herein on or before september 1 1802 18 2 and anti said sald power plant so shall continue to be maintained and operated thereafter during the lull full term ol 01 this franchise
