Moroni, March 8, 1S9L Editor Runts ter: We have had three funerals in Moroni in the last week I5rother Dsvid Bailey's little daughter was interred on Wednesday, March 4, and on Friday March, 6, there was a doable Funeral, Brother Lars K Anderson, Ander-son, and Brother Aarun Hardy Irom a little six mcnths babe were both interred. inter-red. A great many people attended the luneral, and showed byjLheir uteseuse their ood feelings for the deceased, j Brother Anderson has lived the life of a true Latler-Day Saint, he is well spoken of and respected by people both in and out of the church. Funeral services were held in the large Tabernacle Moroni, March 8. The speakers were Elders, Joseph FJolley, James M.Chris-tenson M.Chris-tenson aud Nathan Faux. They spoke words ol great consolation which were sympathetic and fitting for the occasion. It was said of him that he was the most upright man that he ( . M. Chrtstensou) ever knew and related incidents in his life which proved he was a very good and exemplary man. and if we live as faithful aud upright it will be well with us. And in lelation to our little ones they will be restored to ns again, wheu we go to the other side ol the vail to where thev are, for matter is eternal, Our spirits are eternal, and the eternal purposes of the I-ord God will be fulfilled fulfill-ed and we will all be restored to one another if we live righteous lives. BP. BADI.KYS DEATH He passed quietly to rest this morn-iny. morn-iny. Brother Bradley died at 15 minutes past 8 o'tl ck this morning, March 8, at his residence at Moroni City, Sail Pete Co., Utah, l ie was born in the town of Salem, Washington County, Staie ol New'York Jan. 15, 1813. He was there-lore there-lore at the time of his demise, aged 78 vears. one month and jo days.- He embraced the gospel 111 July, 1843, when he was 30 years of age. tie has been faithful and true throughout many trying try-ing scenes and v.sC' tiide ! He was in every sense a Pioneer of this r gioii, having came to S in Pete in the fall of 1849. He moved back aud was the first Latter-Day Saint in Nephi in "the tall, 1851. He was the first councillor to josepli Heywtoi in that Stake, He was cummissioi e I a Major of the Mormon Mor-mon Battalion, March, 1855, ar d held that commission up to 1850. He was appointed and received a commission as Probate Jude in the year 1857. He moved to Moroni, San Pete Canity, in the year ot 1857, M uch 15th. He was rdained Bshop of Moiuui, July, 14 1859. Bishop George W. Bradley has been and is widely known as a great man in these last days in Iserael. Peace to the ashes; The reamams of Bishop Bradley will be interred Wednesday, March 11.
