Show ST JOHS A late of writes about his home by euid permission of F II 11 we have perused n private letter received by him from a gentleman who a short time ago was a resident of ogden but who now has made his hame in st johns arizona the writer says that lies of the basest kind have been circulated in regard to the condition of the peo pie of that place the crops in that part of the country are better this year than ever before and more grain will be gathered in this summer than has been harvested during any previous season he says it i baks let their grain burn nut by and not attending 0 o it but laiq same result would follow i u course anywhere thase clr grumble the mol are the best oft and ain families prospects are inviting and who have an abundance of everything are leaving the place there is not much money around but everybody ihas do the writer who is in the building business eay he has been busy all the time and has had bis hands full st johns has been paying out about every year for flour but it is contemplated to have a grist mill in the place and save that amount of money per annum which will make times a little more lilily A large brick meeting house is in course of erection and some new stores will be built shortly |
