Show ELECTRIC LINES NORTH. The proposed electric line from southern Idaho, through Malad Valley to a connection with the electric road building north from Ogden would annex a big part of the most productive farming districts dis-tricts along the Snake River. The large steam roads have their ifeld of development and likewise like-wise the electric lines. The steam roads are the great arteries of traffic, while the trolley roads are the feeders. There is a tendency, where trolley lines are numerous, to build up the central cities. Ogden is so situated as to bsnefit by this centralization cen-tralization of population, and therefore more electric lines to the north will but add to this city's importance as a commercial point and attractive place for a home. |
