Show 10 AWAKEN INTEREST IN BAR ASSOCIATION Salt Lake, March 20 A meeting of the Bar association of the state ol Utah will be h-ld In the south courtroom court-room of the federal building on April 2, 1910, at 2.30 p. m This is an adjournment ad-journment of the regular annual meet Ing of the association held last January. Jan-uary. The principal business to be discussed relates to the amendment of the constitution In the following particulars: Holding two meeting? a year In the place of one Fixing the first Saturday after the first day of the month In tho months of April and October for holding 6uoh meetings providing for a -hanquvt after the April meeting and a smoker or other social functlou after tho October meeting: defining the classes f members and fixing the qualification and dues and providing a procedure for the suspen-'slon suspen-'slon of members. The main object had in view by the association in ccuisldorlng these amendments Is u extend the scope of the usefulness of the association to members of the bar and to awaken a livelier interest on the part of attorneys at-torneys In the organization. It is desired de-sired that nl members of the bar, regardless re-gardless of whether they are now affiliated af-filiated with tho orgE-inlzatlon, be present After the meeting and commencing about U:30 a banquet of tho association associa-tion will bo held at the University club. All the members of the bar, regardless of whether thoy arc members mem-bers of the association, arc cordially Invited to atteud the banquet, but a charge of ?3 per plate will be made to thoso who are not members of tno association. C. S. Baldwin, president of the Bar association, will presldo at the banquet. ban-quet. Judge Andrew Howat will be official toastmaster. A choice menu has been prepared by the manager of th University club, and after this has been served toasts will be responded re-sponded to as follows: "looking Backward." Hon. J E.
