Show KELIHER IS TO LEAVE ILJP. T. T. Kellher of the secret service department of the Union Pacific system sys-tem arrived from the East this morning morn-ing on a farewell trip of Inspection of that department. After ten years' service 'with the Union Pacific Railroad Rail-road company Mr Kellher baa resigned re-signed his position to nccopt the appointment ap-pointment of chief of the secret service serv-ice department of the Illinois Central svslem. with headquarters in Chicago. He will have a stafT of live hundred j secret service men In his now position, posi-tion, and will take charge ot the Investigation In-vestigation now going on over the sys- J tern and Inaugurated by General Manager Man-ager W. L. Park during tho last thirty days. Tonight Mr. Keliher will be given a stag dinner at the residence of Division Di-vision Superintendent W. M. Jcffers, and the guests will number a score of local railroad men who will tak ndvtntago of Mrs. Jeffers' absence to warmly enterfjain the retiring and popular head of the Union Pacific Secret Se-cret Service department. |
