Not long ago one of tho beasts was poisoned at one of the ranches and died- It measured six feet In length. In writing to Commissioner Chambers, Cham-bers, Mr. Moore asks for the assistance assist-ance on the part of the state la exterminating ex-terminating the wild animals, and suggests that the bounty on the beasts be increased. Mr. Chambers said this morning that similar reports had come from this section of the state, and that he proposes to kill off the dangerous animals an-imals and protect the cattle. Tills week he Intends to go to Castle Rock, accompanied by a party of hunters, and wage war upon the wild beasts. The party of hunters, Mr. Chambers says, will follow tho wolves by night and kill them whenever possible.
