STRICKEN CHURCHMAN IS HOW MUCH IMPROVED John R. Winder of tho first presidency presi-dency of the Mormon church, stricken strick-en yesterday with an attack of pueu-monln, pueu-monln, is improving, and a quick recovery re-covery for the veteran churchman In predicted by Dr. C. P. Wilcox, the attending at-tending physician. "President Winder's condition is about as good as could be hoped for under the circumstances," said Dr Wilcox last night "I believe that his recovery will be rapid. There Is no I dangwr at present, and tbe chances fftr I his recovery are good " The president suffered from a bad cold oil day Monday. On Tuesday he experienced a bad chill and wrs taken i seriously 111. His case seemed serious all day Tuesday, but early yesterday morning he took a turn for the better and has been steadily improving since.
