Show MEXICAN 'RIOTERS 11 1 Pft llliulwiUi Their Execution Follows Fatal Street Fights of Saturday El Paso, April 14.-The Herald's correspondent cor-respondent at Torreon, Mexico, thirty miles from Yelaidena, where the rloU occurred on Saturday last, resulting from an order preventing a religious parade, has returned to Torreon from the scene of the trouble, and reports that one rurale, one woman and three men were killed in the street fights. Ten of the leaders of the rioters were taken prisoners and executed. On arriving at Velardna Sunday night, the correspondent says, the soldiers sol-diers compelled the leader of the band engaged to furnish, music for the procession pro-cession and to g1e the names of the men who had contracted for the music. He gave a list of fifteen names and ten of this number were arrested. Upon Up-on the order of the governor, tho men were summarily- executed at daybreak, Monday. The remaining five are being searched for. The town Is still in control con-trol of the troops, and order is being maintained. The riot' was directed solely against the leaders, and none of the property of Americans was daw-aged,. |
