The Forum or Boys' Debating club, 'held a meeting at the O. H S. at 7:30 last night. The tariff question was discussed by several of tho old members, mem-bers, fin the Fordney-McCumber bin is tho subject that the club Intends to work upon. A trial debate between Elmer Burke and Grant Chandler. upon the subject of compulsory stu-tdent stu-tdent body tickets was given. Elmer i Burke, who debated the affirmative side was adjudged the winner. Both i were then made- full fledged members of the Forum. Trial debates are to be given next Monday upon tho subject. "Resolved. That the U p fTnvrrnment should own and operate all railroads," by four prospective members, Clyde Harris. iKarl Murray, Mac Boyd and Dllworth 'Sandberg. The members are all taking an active part and they are ready to challenge the Girls' Dobatlng club for a debato whenever it Is organized. or-ganized.
