Cladwell who succeeds Miss jBeus as head of the organization, j In accepting the Kilt Miss Re.ns expressed ex-pressed appreciation and told how I hard It would be for her 10 part from her old friends in the ward. Miss Beus I will be married early in December j Another pleasing feature of the I program, which was given in honor of ihe parents of the ward, was a Ihing picture representing homo life. During this scene "When You and I Were Young, j Maggie," was sung by Horace Whit-tier. Whit-tier. Miss Bessie Whlttler and Miss Mildred Colton Mrs. Wbitiier played the accompaniments. "Greeting to Parents, " Alfred Gladwcll; "Alice, Where Art Thou""' John Holdon; read ings, "Margery's Valentine," Mrs. Ellen El-len E Gladwell, and "A Sensible Boy," Miss Delia Thornton. Following the program games and dancing were enjoyed by a large path erlpg under the dire tion of Miss Mary Woolley of tho stake board. Mrs. Gladys HarbertBOD and Mrs C W. Tolhurst of the stake board were also present Miss Beus was guest of honor at a I shower given recently by the officers and teachers of the mutuals and also by the Bee Hive girls of the Fourteenth Four-teenth ward on |
