McLaughlin of Park City, presided Tho history and the minutes of the organization was read by Secretary Nils Lind of Mldvale. Postmaster Noble Warrum made the address of welcome and F T. Frawley, a M.,.Hcial representative of the department depart-ment dlacussed central accounting. During the afternoon session, the central accounting tysteni was taken up again. Mi Llnd explained the i problems of poetrnas'ers incident to the new plan, and W. E Block, assistant as-sistant postmaster at the Salt Lako office, of-fice, answered questions concerning th handling of accounts and finances. "Claims and Indemnities," Introduced Introdu-ced by Postmaster John A IsraHson. of llvrum, were explained In detail by J. E. Seely. claim clerk at the Salt Lake postofflce. "The Postofflce and Mall Transportation Transpor-tation " was the topic handled by W. H. Taylor of Ogden, chief clerk of the transportation service. Practically all of these subjects were technical, pertaining to the dispatch, dis-patch, transportation and delivery of j malls, and the making out of accounts. The concluding address, by Postmaster Noble Warrum, was a discussion on the relation of the postmaster to the public.
