Show Arizona Banishes Man Convicted of Robbing S. P. Train TUCSON, Ariz.. Dec. 12 Banishment Banish-ment from the state for a period of 26 years and suspension of the Imposition Impo-sition of sentence for that period on condition that he leave the state within with-in 24 hours was the punishment meted met-ed out today to Frank W. Jlrou. confessed con-fessed participant In the holdup of tho Golden State Limited on the Southern Pacific railroad on the morning of May Irt. about s miles west of Tucson. As Jlrou now Is 61 years old. the sentence is considered equivalent equiv-alent to banishment for life. In explaining the sentence. Judge Klrke M. Moore, told Jirou that he was suspending the Imposition of sentence sen-tence because of the promises of leniency len-iency which had been made to him by officers Investigating the crime, on condition that ho tell the r imes of the-other the-other members of the party and turn state's evidence against them. During the 25-year period of suspension. sus-pension. Jlrou will be required to report re-port twice a month to the probation officer. In order that a check may be kept upon his whereabouts.
