Show K. K. K. WARNINGS PROBED IN S. L. i SALT LAKE. March 9. Department Depart-ment of Justice agents are investigating investigat-ing the source of several letters received re-ceived in the last two days by six Salt Iake men and either sem by the Ku Klux Klan which recently so-ll so-ll ited for members here, or some persons using the title of the myeter-... myeter-... i organization. These- letters either advised the immediate im-mediate departure of the persons addressed ad-dressed or urged reformation under pain of tar and feathers or other personal per-sonal calamity unnamed. The attitude on the part of those who received the letters Nailed Nai-led with their dispositions, though In no instance yot noted has there been any disposition to accept without question ques-tion the mysterious mandates. Among those who have been visited visit-ed with the attentions of tho unknown scribe are Ike Bernstein, ' Spec" hertj, Herb Bolton and "Gentleman Jim" Donaldson. |
