The Kalispell chamber charges the Western Mriic-x lteclumatlon association associa-tion with bad faith in having consented con-sented to the elimination of cut-ovei .lands from the pending bill, and It appears that a like charge is mrde by the promoters of the Columbia basin project in Wa.shmgion. both of which enterprises are Interested in cut-over lands and were assured this would be Incorporated ln the reclamation reclama-tion bill at the time they lent their co-operation to the association. Unless the reclamation bill is amended, not a dollar appropriated I under Its provisions could be used In clearing cut-over lands for settlement |
