Mexicans, Mexi-cans, to charges of second-degree ' burglary for the alleged robberv of the store of C. 11 Hartog. In West Og? den, on the nlxht of March I T. J Maginm-. local attorney was appointed by the tourt to represent the men and he guided them in entering en-tering their pleas. He also asked the court to grant them separate trials, j Martinez can speak English fluent - I lv. but Rdyas a.s unable to under- ' stand the court proceedings When ! the court asked him this morning if Royas was his true name he was un- I able to understand and Martinez was! asked by the Judge to interpret the j question. However, Royas refused to hae Martinez interpret for him and refused to answer until an interpreter interpret-er was secured.
