Show FORT DOUGLAS TO GET MORE TROOPS SALT LAKE. May 23 Announcement Announce-ment was made today at the local Commercial club that troops from Camp Iewis. Wash., would be moved to Fort Douglas, l'tah within the next two weeks. Word upon which the announcement an-nouncement was based was received from Major General C. G Morton. COmmahder of the Ninth corps area at San Francisco. It was also announced that Brigadier General Ulysses G Mac-Alexander Mac-Alexander would be In command at the local fort and he Is expected to arrive about Juno 1. With the coming of the soldiers from Camp Lewis, tho Fort Douglas garrison will be composed of about 13o0 men. In comparison with the 300 now stationed there The fort will be official! designated as the Sixth brigade headquarters and headquarter for the Thirty -eighth regiment of in-fantrv, in-fantrv, it Is reported.
