July 5 Charles Paddock, California's super-sprinter, super-sprinter, made five new world's records rec-ords here Tuesday In competition a1 a sanctioned most over a measured track. This clipped 1 1-5. seconds from the record. 126 yards, 12 1-6 seconds, a gain of 1-5 of a second. 80 yardF. 7 4-5 seconds, a gain of 1-5 second. 70 yards, 7 1-10 seconds, a gaJn of 1-10 second. 60 yards. 6 1-6 seconds, a gain of 1 -5 second- BREAK WORLD RECORD Paddock also equaled the record oi 0 3-5 for the hundred yard and 7 3-5 for the 75-yard dashes. He breasted the tape first In every distance of every race except the 50-yard distance dis-tance of the first sprint. In which Eddie Sudden led with a time mark of E 2-5 seconds, not a record, and the j ,6-yard dash of the third race which I Sudden abo won. The races were run over a track that many years ago was a favor-La race course and had been worked and built and rebuilt, until, with ih passing pass-ing years, according to Paddock.
