Irvine. He killed Stuart and fatally wounded wound-ed Irvine April 15 when the latter went to the Gardner farm at Welbj with several deputy sheriffs to replevin re-plevin some stock. He Invited Stuart and Chief Civil Deputy Sheriff Frank M. Mathews. Into the house and shot Stuart twice. Gardner then mounted a horse and started In pursuit of Irvine, who ran down a ravine near the farm soon after af-ter the shooting. Irvine was overtaken over-taken and mortally wounded.
