A ceremony In honor f the flrfit Frenchman killed in the war has just been held in this little village. The victim. Jules Peugeot, Peu-geot, was a schoolmaster before the war and joined tho armv as a corporal. ll- was shot by a L'hlan patrol 12 kilometers from the German frontier 30 hours before tho declaration of war. A monument, monu-ment, to tho schoolmaster erected hero will soon bo dedicated by tho French government
