recent accident cid ent on motion of alderman stratford it was resolved to authorize the city recorder to arrange with the authorities of deseret hospital for the car care e taking of the child wild jor for on one e A month lodth wih the understanding that the county as sumo half the financial responsibility the mayor then presented another case of an afflicted person iu in the third ward one george morrin who baying having in hia his youth been bit it by a mad dog was subject to occasional violent fits of hydrophobia alderman stratford thought the county should look after insane and ind being from W WB B doddridge who in a written petition presented that tit it was wits his intention to rebuild the stone wall fronting his residence property situated on oil second street near main 1 he desired to construct a wooden stairway on the outside of said wall somewhat as indicated in ia a 0 plan attached he asked permission mission to use three and one half to four feet of the sidewalk tor ter this purpose said stairway to be re moved at any time it might interfere with the public use of eaid said sidewalk on motion or alderman farr the petition pet was granted gr antel under the thus some of the revenue could be saved councilor brought up the matter of some land in dispute on tho the banks of ogden river upon further explanation by alderman St stratford raiford it was decided
