liberals from the country who increased tho the ranks from the city al H beardsley at called the assemblage to order and read the call in pursuance of which the meeting had come to pass on motion of captain smith GIN GENN N KIMBALL was appointed chairman ho he thanked for the number present what they lacked in numbers they could make up in energy and determination they believed in a rule of the people abiding by the constitution ot of the he united states he ile said that every citizen is a free roan man and entitled to alt all those legee there should be no power arraigned against the laws of the land and the constitution of the country he ile denounced the power of a priesthood who attempt to dominate over the people of utah the liberal party will enlighten the foreigners who have been brought to utah under false pretenses to assist in breaking the laws but bit the liberal party will show these people that the united states is the supreme lawmaking law making power for the territory
