Show FROM ARIZONA or dr P L opinion of the tile cachin country i we talce the following interesting iff items ris from front a private letter to the editor of the HERALD furnished by our esteemed fellow fellows townsman dr P L anderson Au derson who in company of his eldest eon son lee ia is in the sunny section of the south we let the dictor speak for himself my 1 y journey from ogden to arizona ai 0 na territory was a very desirable and pleasant one I 1 have found the nicest climate I 1 was ever in the days are beautiful just warm enough to be plea pleasant ant and the th nights are cool enough to require ic three or four blankets to keep warm chis is u a very fine stock country the tile only objection being the scarcity t r of running streams of water though an abundant supply of water can be had by digging jigging from 10 to 50 feet by I 1 ay this means thousand j of cattle are watered with very little cattle look better here than at any other place I 1 have ever seen very little grain or vegetables arc are grown liere here I 1 think that in tho course ofa of a little lime time they will be produced here in great abundance society here like in all other new countries is not very good but I 1 ambold am told it is improving rapidly 1 I think a man with two or three thousand dollars in cash cau call do better here than in any other place in america stock of all kinds live well herrall here he all the year without cutting any graw an and d all look well 1 1 I have taken a careful view ofa of a large arge portion of the country and intend seeing more of it if nothing prevents |
