land land that the city had taken of his for a road in ili sec se 34 township 6 without filling the agreement that ita its committee made with him to give him as much land and pay all expenses for deed etc if he would let them have the land fora for a road the petitioner further presented that the land laud taken by the city had cost him 60 for oil all of which he be had not as yet received the bompensa com pensa lion tion promised alderman stratford explained the question at issue that another party who had bad wished the road being made had promised to give air as much land as was taken from froin him for the road the city to furnish the deed which haa has not been done as the cunning ham hams the other party had refused to recompense Rack liam alderman stratford considering this a
