ground floor is occupied as receiving and packing rooms and by the he retail departments of the institution on tile second floor are the general offices private office and wholesale department which latter is well stocked with a complete ass of merchandise on the third floor is the store room for hardware queen ac these rooms are from 15 to 17 feet in in height the institution is divided into departments part art ments as follows dry goods hardware stationery boot shoe and leather notions wooden ware and queen clothing carpets ac c the height of tho the structure 13 is about 65 feet the cost of erection was about it is one oatlie handsomest and most solidly built structures in the west the amount of stock steel carried by this institution is about the amount ot of business transacted of the same street i J BOYLE CO have aavo built a substantial brick two story business house feet with a largo large basement the structure has a fireproof fire proof metal roof and will be used as a furniture ashment ish lish ment on the east side of main alain north of fourth street MR ISAAC CLARK bus IBS built a very neat two stor story y bride briel block feet well finished and is just now occupied for mercantile purposes immediately south of the above and similar to it is another building erected by MR MIL WILLIAM and occupied by frank cafor hides fur furs and leather on fourth street
