| Show A railroad nuisance on several occasions we have called the attention of parents to the fact that children are in the habit of boarding the trains as they come into the depot each morning thereby endangering their lives or limbs the gentlemen superintending super intending both the U P and C P lines here have at last determined to arrest all boys found boarding their trains it is not that the companies begrudge hial aka faw iaia has come when an example should be made of a few of those reckless lads this action on the part of the companies is taken as a matter of self defense for should any of these youngsters through their own reck less nets lose their lives or at least get lamed then in all probability the railroad companies would be censured therefore those arrested will be charged with trespass and we have no doubt that the charge can be made to stick we are glad that those two companies have concluded to take action in this matter and trust that the utah central if it has not already done so will follow suit it is time that this dangerous practice was stopped and every parent should bear in mind that if any of their offspring are arrested for thus unlawfully boarding trains that it is done for their good and not because anyone connected with the railroad desires to parents keep your children from the depot |
