Show 1920 Christmas Mail Broke All Records The postal employes at the tjgden terminal handled the heaviest vol- I ume of Christmas mall during the past week 01 two that has ever been recorded in this city, according to w H Taylor, chief lerk of the local railway mall service. I distributed. i The heaviest mail of the year was ' handled on Hecember 23. when 7.108 1 bags of Christmas presents were sort- ed within a 24-hour period. A hundred and twenty-eight men I were engaged In sorting mails on this I day. Mr. Taylor stated that the general public apparently took more pains in ; preparing parcels for the mails.
