P. ltcnjumln of Montpeller, Vt., Is tho possoBHur of a freak In the form of a kitten six weeks old. The kitten Is hohtullctl, ot titer color, but of most pucutlar shspo, balf of Its budy the forelegs and head like a cat, aud the bind legs and hips like those of a rabbit, so Its gait Is most peculiar; while the forefeet are planted softly, ona after another, after the manner of cats, the hind legs follow fol-low In all awkward sort of hop. The kitten's appearance Is ludicrous, but It appears likely to livo and grow. |
