A lamentable double tragedy occurred oc-curred a few days ago at Poughkeepala. N. Y.. when Mrs. Albert Kdwln Tower, wealthy, cultured, and a leader In New York and Newport society, killed her mh i Mrs. Albert Bdwla Tower. 14-yesr-old son, whom shs Idolized, In a fit of nervous fremy and then sent a bullet through ber brain. Herhus-band Herhus-band Is a wealthy iron master and had been railed to the Poughkcepsle Iron Foundry, which he conducts, owing to an accident there. During the evening even-ing Mrs. Tower, who bsd been a victim vic-tim of nervous disorder, entertained a few frlenda. after which she end her son retired to their rooms.
