Show chicago boy killed in elevator mishap SALT LAKE. Aug 12. Charles Henry Brandlev, 14-year-old son of Mrs. Edith Brundley Bohlini;. 2S Chicago Chi-cago street, was killed at 11 SO o'clock yeeterdaj in an elevator accident at the Twin l eaks canning factory at Murray. The boy, with several lad.-, was playing play-ing about the elevator during a period while work was slack. He mounted the automatic elevator gate to look down the shaft to see If the elevator was being brought to the second floor. The elevator gate, which automatically automatical-ly raises and lowers with thi movement move-ment of the elevator, lifted the boy and caught him between the beams! and the gate. Brandley suffered a broken neck and other Injuries. The injured lad was rushed to the home of I r Y II ROthwell but died forty-five minutes after the accident. His mother, Stepfather and six brothers und sisters survive htm. oo |
