All phaBos of the prohibition question will be heard by the supremo court hotore deciding on validity of tho prohibition amendment and tho Volstead enforcement enforce-ment acL Having heard arguments In the Rhode Island, Kentucky and Massachusetts Massa-chusetts cases, tho court has granted Now Jersey permission to Institute original proceedings to test the amendment amend-ment It also fixed March 20 to hoar arguments in the New Jersey proceedings, proceed-ings, on appeals by Christian Fiegen-span, Fiegen-span, a Newark, N. J., browcr, and dn government appeals in injunction .proceedings .pro-ceedings against tho Manitowoc. Products Prod-ucts company, Wis. The two appeal casos apply principally princi-pally to the validity ot the prohibition amendment as it relates to tho manu-Taciure manu-Taciure of beer alleged to be non-ln-toxIcaUng. The government won the former but lost the latter case In the lowrr courts.
