So we are hoping th Children's Aid society will get its house painter" before be-fore the paint gives out, for when we stop to think of all the beautiful houses you dear people have painted so lavishly, the Liberty Bond House, throe or lour times, the Thrift Stamp House, the Y M C. A. House, tie Y W, C. A. House, the Rod Cross House, the Knights of Columbus House, the Jewish Relief House, the Martha i l House and oh, just lots of little houses too numerous to mention, no wonder we are worried about the Children's Aid House. But oh you blessed, blessed people ou are not going to let that one! little house stand all shabby and no -cl ( led because no one has called your attention to it. N'o si reel ogden people would never do lhat, for you see you hae given us some paint and Ogden people always al-ways Hnish a job and we must have more lo enable us lo finish It, so it will look as nice as all the other! houses. YYc wish it were possible to tell you' about all the work we are trying with I your help to do, for of course wr couldn't do one thing without you 1 , Your dollars and help and loving sympathy sym-pathy have made the hard places easy. ; 'e wish you might all see the dear' little feet you have shod, the little bod ies you have clothed, tho tiny mouths 'ou have fed, the weary, nerve-racking hours of pain you have soothed away; the tired, heartbroken mothers you I have given a new vision to; the dis j couraged, sick fathers, unable to w ork for their loved ones, who needed Just 1 .a little of your help, until they were able again to take up their share of, the world's work, encouraged because you hi'd been the big brother In the lime of need, and the homes you hae supplit d fur i hose who w ere orphaned f or worse yes, even the little graves I in God's Acre. Wonderful Recompense- ' All this ye have done and Christ J said, "If ye have done it unto the least of these, My children, ye have done it j i unto Me " Isn t that a wonderful recompense rec-ompense for us all? But we must do ; more, and we know you want to help if it is onh a little, and because we , know and appreciate the demand has' been so heavy on all, and thai you I have given and given and given, we decided that we would not have our an-' nual drive this month for funds but I would appeal to you all to just send ; us what you could money or food or' clothes.
