Show LOGAN OPENS UP WIDE PUBLICITY C1PH TO BOOST BTH LOGAN CITY, Utah's thriving little municipality to the north, has opened up an ambitious publicity campaign, the aim being to bring to tho attention of Utahns generally the many advan-taea advan-taea of the northern-most section of tho state. This campaign will includo news stories on the industries of Logan Lo-gan and Cache valley, an attractive ioldcr showing the beauties of Logan canyon, prepared especially for tourists, tour-ists, and a comprehensive booklet telling tell-ing ol the advantages of Cache valley as r. place for homes. An early issuo of tho Pay Roll Builder issued by the Manufacturers association of Utah, will also bo turned over to Logan and Cache county and it will be uscu to describe de-scribe the industrial, agricultural and educational advantages of tho section. This campaign will be conducted under un-der the auspices of the Logan Chamber Cham-ber ol Commerce. Mr. D. E. Robinson, head of the department of information service at the Utah Agricultural col-lego, col-lego, has been given direct charge of lllUJJUlgU. llll- llUUlllOUll uan been appointed by tho Chamber of Commerce to bring before tho slate of Utah tho attractive facts concerning Cache valley that we as residents of Logan know but which aro not generally gen-erally known throughout Utah," stated Mr. Luther Howell, president of tho Chamber of Commerce in announcing the appointment of Mr. Robinson. "Cache valley is a valley of prosperous homes. No section offers greater opportunities op-portunities to the ambitious and thrifty thrif-ty home seeker Its rich lands are ideally adapted to such important croos as sugar beets, green peas, alfalfa, al-falfa, potatoes and wheat. As a dairy center the fame of the valley has al-roady al-roady spread wide. Sugar factories, pea canneries, silk condensers, flour mills, furnish the farmers with leady markets for their products. Logan, with its pnved streetB, its beautiful homes, its modern business houses, its colleges, its factories, is the center of this rich farming region." The canyon folder to bo Issued by the Chamber of Commerce is already on the press and will be out in time to furnish auto tourists with a good idoa of tho beauties in storo for them wbon they make the trip from Logan to Bear Lake. The folder includes, besides a description of Logan canyon, well illustrated, a log from Logan to Garden City and information concerning concern-ing the free camping ground established estab-lished by Logan City and tho Cham ber of Commerce. Emphasized throughout the folder is tho fact that the trip to Yellowstone via Logan can yon is tho most beautiful approach to the park. Upon the front of the folder j is a scene showing the canyon road winding through the wonderful quak ing asps for which tho upper stretches of the canyon are noted.
