Walker Cochran of Detroit won two games toda. in the first of which he defeated the veteran Oeorgo Slosson of Boston, finishing the game in the tenth inning with a world's record run of 265. In tonight's game, Cochran defea.ed, Jake Sehaefer by 400 to 257. In do- j ing so he left the championship title i safe for Willie Iloppe. Incidentally Cochran made another high run tonight, his 168 beating by three points the high mark he set for Hie tournament yesterday Earlier in the day.
